I recently visited Point Car Wash in Point Pleasant to address a specific issue with my vehicle. After noticing a few drips in my driveway, I needed to get the bottom of the engine and the underbody thoroughly cleaned to help identify exactly where the leak was coming from. Finding a location that offers a reliable underbody blast without a long wait can be a challenge, but this spot fit the bill perfectly. I opted for the top-tier wash in the automated bay, which was very reasonably priced at $14. For a "top end" wash, this is a great value compared to many other locations in the area that charge significantly more for similar services. The process was straightforward and efficient, which I appreciated since I was mainly there for the functional benefit of the underbody spray rather than just a surface shine. The automated bay did a solid job of clearing away the road grime and oil residue from the underside of the vehicle. Since the wash, it has been much easier to monitor the engine area and pinpoint the source of those driveway drips. 5 stars because it is a good car wash, compared to others in ocean county. The only thing I wish was they had a tripple foam sprayer in the self serve, and thicker wheel cleaner. Other than that good car wash.

Busy car wash, not many left, plenty of self service bays...use your card is best bet, in my humble experience, as the machines a notorious for eating quaters, as happened today. $2.50 down the drain, no pun intended, and the price went up a dollar , so it's $3.50 @ 4minutes Thats will be the last time that happens, cant use the drive thru as it trashes the soft top... A couple more months, and ill be back to hand washing stay safe out there!!

I come to this car wash mainly for the touchless wash option. It does the job well except for a few quirks. First, the card reader(s) here are absolute junk. There’s been times I’ve swiped my card over 10 times and it still doesn’t read it resulting in having to use a different card or cash, unless it finally decides to accept it. Second, after the whole wash process including rinse and dry, there’s still soap on the car. Lastly, the drying doesn’t do a very good job and shoots out water while it’s blowing which defeats the purpose. *Also a little FYI for fellow car enthusiasts with sedans (even stock ride height), you WILL scrape pulling in and out of the main entrance on RT 88. Use the second entrance between the wash and plaza next to it!* I’ll continue to come here as it’s a convenient option for in between hand washes but it could definitely use some TLC.

Awful car wash. Even at $12 for the “FULL PACKAGE” it is overpriced because it doesnt CLEAN anything. What’s the point of having a fancy automatic carwash that tells you it is applying cleaners and all these fancy soaps, but it doesnt actually clean anything? Not a single brush, no cloth strands, nothing. Just a power wash. My car literally came out dirtier than it went in. Never coming here again.
